“Just Fun” a throw away song blows my mind. I heard 10 seconds of it and think it’s great.........does anyone else feel the same?

Isn’t it funny that many of the great musical artists - the Beatles, Sinatra, Fitzgerald, Streisand, Pavarotti - couldn’t read music. I still maintain that it’s easy to read music, and it’s a huge convenience to have those tools. But obviously it’s not necessary to make an artistic statement.

It must be sad to be Sean. Most of what he knows about his famous dad is just what other people tell him.

Sean sounds like me when I tried to find out and ask questions about both my Grandad’s one died when I was a baby one I never met Paul needs to jot things down when they pop into his head while at home has so much happened back then so that we can gather enough Social history of those times in the 60’s that we possibly can because when everyone who lived in those times is gone that’s it 🙂

Harrison was age 14, McCartney age 15, Lennon age 17 when they first met in 1957. In 6-7 yrs they were the biggest thing in the world. They're still the biggest thing in the world almost 60 yrs later.

Sean is so blessed to still at least have Paul around to hear these stories about his Dad from his old friend who just happened to be the co-leader in the biggest band in musical history. Even if John and Paul had never been famous anything, it’s still wonderful to hear stories about your Dad from his friends. To tragically lose your Dad at such an early age is just devastating, but this is so nice, because as time goes by their generation is almost all gone. What a great interview, I really enjoyed it.

Jesus the first part about the bus and the line for fish n chips sounds like total horseshit. Sean is so insightful and McCartney jst kind of a forgetful old guy. His reference to "Working Class Hero" is so off the mark, and most f his comments are superficial as hell. Wonderful to hear Sean though. Beginning to wonder if Paul really is dead.

I am thankful that Paul was gracious enough to give Sean first-hand detailed information about his father John, his grandmother, Julia and his great-aunt, Mimi. I can only imagine how thrilled Sean must have been to hear and learn these details directly from Paul who is an eyewitness.

It's nice that they didn't mention the 'Y' word .. Yoko. Yes, Yoko is Sean's mother and naturally wouldn't want anything bad said about her and wisely neither Paul or Sean mentioned her involvement that helped the Beatles to break up. Many would argue that had John Lennon lived he wouldn't have continued being with the obsessive Yoko who turned out to be rather nasty towards John's first born, Julian.

WoW! It's so nice to hear Sean talk to Paul about his relationship with John, & John's mum before, during, & after the Beatles. It's a great interview, & quite a refreshing change from a few years ago, when people would interview Sean. He would get pissed off when people would ask him about his dad. "I thought you were here to talk to me about my music, not my dad." Our little Sean has grown up to be a great interviewer! "When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to twenty-one I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years." Mark Twain

He says we didn't know what we were doing but the fact remains they loved what they were doing is why they became good at it sometimes we have to do things that we cannot stand we hate but even then they become very good at it basically to support ourselves and our families it would be great if we could all do stuff that we really enjoyed but we are not all created the same we all have blood and water in our bodies and yet we are not the same

Absolutely Wonderful. OK, I know the cynics would see this as maybe a cash in attempt, but I've thought for years how interesting it would be for the 2 surviving Beatles should team up with the 'Beatle Kids' and see what kind of music they could produce. The genes are there for some great possibilities. Any one else?

Met Sean at Crocodile Cafe in Seattle about 5 ? years ago. Entire show is on my channel. Then he looked at me (I look just like Julian)... and he made a circle around his face, and I said, "Yeah, I know what people tell me." Then he signed his GOASST album 3 times ! Pens kept running out. Maybe a rarity !? Great guy.

George Harrison was a "real" guitar player who had proper lessons, and taught John and Paul guitar care/maintenance basics, Paul was playing trumpet when he met George, who'd been playing guitar for over a year, becoming friends with George is why Paul ditched the trumpet and took up guitar, George took the route most of take learning to play guitar, formal lessons and lots and lots of practice

I played it back, and it sure sounds like Paul is crediting John for 'Here Comes the Sun' and George Harrison wrote that song. I totally agree with Sean that 'Yesterday' was a comet out of the sky. Great conversation. I feel a kindness, respect, and gentle curiosity about his dad, that Sean misses and wants to know him better. I don't think the reported 'hate each other' feelings reported have been blown out of proportion. Sean's reaction 'Oh, thank God!' upon learning John and Paul did write crappy songs from time to time. Imagine the pressure Sean feels being John's son and he's trying to live up to his idea of his dad as a song writer. 'Beautiful Boy' IS a lovely song written for Sean.☮❤

John was with Neil in West Germany to play parts in "How I Won The War". Ringo was in Surrey at the time. Epstein was with Paul and George in the studio. After an argument with Brian, Paul leave in a huff, he slam the door. After Paul left the studio, he pick up a girl named Donna. The girl recognised him and gone mad. Paul ran a red light and was hit by a yellow truck that knocked them across the wet road into a pole, resulting in his decapitation and a car fire. It was on Sunday, 11 September 1966, just minutes before midnight. The interesting thing is that Paul predicted his death and he told and prepared everyone's about this.
